The arch at Washington Square Park at night. Parks are generally to be avoided at night; luckily, this one is touristy enough and close enough to NYU to still be accessible, at least for a little while.

\ A garden in Central Park Sunset doesn't photograph well, but it was pretty. This was Sunday at Harlem Meer (I'm not sure what the difference is between a meer and a pond, but this happens to be in the Harlemish corner of the Park). There was a parade of kids in costumes, a pumpkin sail, spooky stories. We (Me, Katie, Brittany) really wanted to participate, but as none of us has a kid we were really wishing there were a way to rent or borrow a kid for a day. Then we all remembered babysitting.
Central Park from the top of Belvedere Castle (which also happens to be where the weather information about NYC is gathered) A part of the Park where the skyline actually disappears for a little bit - kind of hidden, but if it wasn't, it'd be just like the rest of the park, wouldn't it? We've had a lot of beautiful days lately - in between all the crummy ones, that is.

I'm a little backlogged on pictures (many acquired from others as my camera completely died). You can kind of tell by the variation in the tree colors that these span a pretty large period of time. Oops. More to come.
