It Wasn't All Candles and Reflection Activities

These are too difficult to sort (sorry) so you'll have to work out the flow yourself. These are all from the Saturday of the retreat weekend when we went to a state park and a pumpkin patch, had an impromptu costume party, and carved the pumpkins we had collected.

Claire was a witch.

Our lovely pumpkins. Ours (which was mostly the work of Brittany) is the far left one, the Europeans made the one in the middle (we told them they used the wrong side; you're supposed to make the icky part the back! They thought it made it scarier), and the Boston house is on the right (it spells BOS if you can read it, but there's a remnant of marker from the original face design.)

The pumpkin patch had a corn maze, but it cost money so Brittany and I just ran around in the corn and pretended to be lost.

Christine of the Boston house, me, and Brittany at the state park (which reminded me of Minnesota waterfalls)

The Europeans struggling with their pumpkin carving.

The State Park again (I don't know why these pictures are jumping around so much)

(Me, Brittany, Xabier) Clearly 115 house is coolest, as we all walked on this log bridge thing. You can't really see it in this picture, but it's a little ways up from the ground/creek (but not too far).

At the top of the waterfall, looking over the rest of the park.

Rachel (park ranger) and Roberto (no clear theme) in the costume contest.

Brittany and me at the top of the waterfall. Also, I'd just like to point out that I would not have worn a denim jacket with jeans if I had had any other jacket options at the time. Just to clarify.
